Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 June 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the website at gischconsulting.com.au (the “Site”), which is operated by Gisch Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 22 626 813 910) (“Gisch Consulting”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. About Gisch Consulting
Gisch Consulting is a Victoria-based Australian consultancy serving clients across Australia and New Zealand. Through this Site we publish information about our services, share articles and case studies, and let prospective clients book an initial consultation.
This Site is not the channel through which we deliver paid consulting work. Engagement terms for any project we take on are agreed separately in writing.
3. Use of the Site
You may use this Site to read our content, share or link to it, contact us, and book a consultation. In using the Site, you agree:
- to provide accurate information when you submit a form;
- not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
- not to interfere with the operation or security of the Site, including by introducing malware, attempting unauthorised access, or running automated scraping that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure; and
- not to use the Site to harass any person or to send unsolicited commercial communications.
We may suspend or restrict your access to the Site if we reasonably believe you are not complying with these Terms.
4. Bookings and consultations
When you submit a booking through the Site, you are requesting an initial conversation, not entering a binding services agreement. We will confirm your booking by email, or contact you to reschedule if the time is no longer available.
You can cancel or reschedule a booking by replying to the confirmation email or contacting us directly. We ask for as much notice as you can reasonably give.
We may decline or cancel a booking where the engagement is not a good fit. Our positioning, and the kinds of engagement we are best suited to, are described on our Services page.
5. Information on the Site is not professional advice
The articles, case studies, framework descriptions, and other materials on this Site are published for general information and discussion. They reflect our experience and opinion at the time of writing.
This Site does not provide legal, accounting, financial, taxation, or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as if it did. Where a decision involves your obligations under the law, employment, tax, financial reporting, contractual risk, or other material exposures, please obtain advice from a qualified professional adviser who can consider your specific situation.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content on this Site — including text, articles, case studies, diagrams, images, and the HOME Improvement framework — is © Gisch Consulting Pty Ltd or used with permission.
You may:
- view, share, and link to our content for personal or non-commercial purposes;
- quote short extracts with attribution and a link back to the original page on this Site.
You may not republish substantial portions of our content, use it for commercial purposes, or use our name, trade marks, or HOME Improvement framework branding without our prior written permission. To request permission, email us at the address below.
The intellectual property rights you bring to an engagement remain yours. Engagement-specific terms agreed in writing for each project will govern any rights we need to deliver the work.
7. Third-party links and integrations
The Site may link to third-party websites, products, and services. We provide these links for convenience; they do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of third-party sites.
If you make a booking that includes a video meeting link generated by a third-party platform (for example Google Calendar with Google Meet), that third party's own terms and privacy practices apply to your use of the platform.
8. Disclaimers
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site accurate, current, and available, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that:
- the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components;
- the content will be accurate, complete, or current at any particular time; or
- any specific outcome will result from your use of the Site or from booking a consultation with us.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gisch Consulting Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Site, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
Where our liability cannot be excluded by law — including under the Australian Consumer Law — but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and Gisch Consulting Pty Ltd submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any matter arising from the Site or these Terms. Where possible, we will attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion before commencing legal proceedings.
